Safety Rules:

Each Participant agrees that they are participating at his own risk and accepts the risks inherent in the sport. These risks include, but are not limited to sickness, injuries from falls, accidents and risks related to road traffic and weather conditions.
It is each rider’s responsibility to ensure that they are physically capable and healthy enough to participate in the event.
CPSC Certified Bike Helmets must be worn at all times while on the course.

WHY WE DO IT: The Flatlander FM Rotary Ride is a vibrant community event and fundraiser that promotes cycling and cycling safety in our community.

Is there an age requirement to participate?

This is an all ages event. We just ask that children ages 12 and under ride with an adult. Youth ages 13-17 are required to have a guardian-signed waver if they are not riding with a guardian.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is parking at Lindenwood Park. If you live nearby, we suggest you ride your bikes to the event.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

Although there are plenty of food and beverages before, during and after your ride, feel free to bring any of your favorite snacks. Bring water bottles and many riders bring a small backpack. The morning is often chilly, but then warms up considerably after you’ve been pedaling, and it’s nice to have a place for your jacket or gloves. Wear a GoPro or take pictures and share them on our event pages using #fmrotaryride.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? or call Holly Anderson, Chair, 701-205-6564
